Case Study

Greenhaus is a gardening company concept that makes gardening easy and accessible for young people through subscription boxes and community workshops. By helping Gen Z disconnect from digital overload, they encourage a deeper connection with nature. Gardening promotes stress relief, healthy eating, and social connection, aligning with the German tradition of gardens as personal and cultural spaces. Their workshops provide education on plant care, while their subscription boxes include everything needed to start and maintain a garden effortlessly.

As a new start-up, Greenhaus needed a strong visual identity and packaging mock-ups to make a memorable impression. The solution was a bold brand guide to define its message and aesthetic, along with standout, interactive packaging to leave a lasting impact on customers.

I began the project with brand strategy, research, and planning, focusing on moodboarding, defining the brand personality, and conducting thorough research. Once confident in the foundation, I moved into logo design, creating multiple sketches and storyboards before refining the final logo suite. The chunky serif wordmark conveys fun and accessibility, while the icon evokes nature and quirkiness. I selected complementary typography and a color palette to reflect sophistication, simplicity, and the stress-relieving benefits of gardening.

After refining the branding, I designed the subscription box, soil sachets, seed packets, and plant care manual, using the brand guide to inform packaging decisions. The project culminated in a cohesive visual identity, with social media mockups showcasing Greenhaus' new digital presence.
