Case Study

Placemakr is a flexible hospitality and living platform that blends the comforts of home with hotel amenities. They offer apartment-style hotel units equipped with modern kitchens, in-unit laundry, and living areas, complemented by facilities like fitness centers and rooftop decks. Guests can choose stays ranging from one night to extended periods, enjoying the flexibility to suit their needs. Placemakr collaborates with developers, property operators, and investors to curate spaces in select neighborhoods, transforming vacant apartments into pop-up hotels available for booking. In June 2024, the company achieved its first full month of profitability, marking a significant milestone in its growth.

Through my contract with West of Fairfax, a digital marketing agency based in LA, I was able to have the privilege of working for Placemakr. Throughout my time with West of Fairfax, I was commissioned to create a variety of digital media assets for Placemakr, including social media stories, posts, and instagram highlight graphics. Each month, Placemakr requested 25+ story sets, as well as a handful of in-feed posts. These are just a few of my favorite visuals I created for them. Utilizing their existing branding, I was able to create and maintain a cohesive social media presence for Placemakr.
